Our 3rd Annual MESA Jazz Festival was a great success all around. The event went fantastically, thanks to the combined efforts of our Chairperson, Maria Pisciotta, all of the parents who donated their time and donations, the fantastic student volunteers, Jazz Band I who worked and performed, Jazz II, the great student volunteers, the participating bands and our jazz pros who adjudicated and gave clinics at the event! All participants were extremely complimentary of our hosting this wonderful day. To top it off, both Jazz Band I & Jazz Band II received superior ratings from the judges, along with numerous outstanding soloist awards (which I will hand out at our end of the year band banquet)!
